Each group travels on a separate, age-appropriate programme shaped with its school, college or university.
UPPER PRIMARY · 4–6 DAYS
A supported introduction to regional cultures, friendship and learning beyond the classroom, with shorter journeys, a gentler pace and practical activities.
SECONDARY SCHOOL · 6–8 DAYS
Host-school participation, collaborative projects and leadership activities connect subject learning with identity, teamwork and regional citizenship.
TERTIARY STUDENTS · 7–10 DAYS
Department-led exchanges connect students with peers, institutions and professional settings. Themes may include entrepreneurship, conservation, education or leadership.
Durations are illustrative and depend on travel time, route and institutional calendars.
A sample seven-day Botswana–Zimbabwe secondary-school journey includes arrival and goal-setting, three host-school days, a guided heritage visit, a selected attraction linked to cultural, environmental or economic learning, and a return-home action to share at school.
Mixed-country teams might investigate water use, waste or student wellbeing, develop a practical proposal and reconnect after the exchange to share progress.
Programmes follow agreed learning objectives. Participation certificates do not imply academic credit.
